Has anyone a part of BiggerPockets, been mentored by coach Pat Martin?

I am not one to spend money on coaching or other peoples ideas, but I figure if it gets me one deal it pays for itself.

I ended up hiring a coach/mentor who is already established.

I've read Rich Dad Poor Dad and interviewed with their coaching program to find that if I paid $4,000, I could be an accomplished investor with one property.

I'd really like to know your opinions, the what, when, where, why aspects of what new and old investors think.Gurus, coaches, mentors, teachers, instructors (or whatever any other promoter of CF may call themselves) are certainly welcome.

Real Estate Millionaire Mastermind group has a whole class dedicated to direct mail coming up on 02/22/14 so I would register for that class and definitely attend.Not on Meetup but still have groups in that area is Mark Whitten and Marcel Umphrey.Look up Allen Chaney on Facebook and see if you can get in contact with him, he has a free/low cost coaching program with Real Estate Millionaire Mastermind

In my opinion, they are light years ahead of the others when it comes to training and coaching.

These meetings are great for networking but I don't really get involved with the coaching, seminars or workshops.One suggestion I would make is to put your goals, both long and short term, in writing.

. :)I don't blame those trying to get into RE so much as the gurus and coaches feeding off them with the pie in the sky, how easy it is and go put properties under contract they can't close on.......but, whatever. :)
