My own view: the answer is in the linkedin/zip recruiter/monster.com Find city/metro that has largest number of engineer job opening per square miles.So you'll find:San Jose,CA ; Burlingame,Ca ; San Francisco,CA ; San Diego,CA ; Austin,TX ; Raleigh,NC ; Boston,MA, Seattle,WA and maybe even Huntsville,AL.Go follow the trail of money........and split the bet accordingly to those cities.

Alexandra, I also then looked on LinkedIn and other social media sites and the persons name did not show up anywhere. 

Likewise, if you have a large following on Facebook or LinkedIn, you could try posting there as well and see if anyone in your personal or professional network is interested.

Look on facebook, bigger pockets, the tv and linkedin. .

.#2...others you know in your database...phone, Linkedin, FB, IG or any other database you have access to, like church, frat, old workplace, college alum, HS alum, any other group you were or are apart of....sports team, country club, school clubs, etc.#3...next is getting in front of people who are most likely to sell or buy.....we don't have to tell you who those people are....you need to think about them....the easist most people work are FSBOs and Expired if there are any around you, but plenty of others.

., TV commercials, radio ads, motivated seller website, SEO, pay per click/adwords, facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, and other forms of online advertising and boosted/promoted social media postings.Bottom line is consistency.
