As the only Canadian to respond to this post and guns are no where as common in Canada as in the states, I believe the last article I read mentioned 93% of Americans own firearms, the sight of a weapon would make me feel very reluctant to buy in that area, trust that person nor would I want my wife entering a house with someone who had a weapon even if they had a permit.
