If you have some equity it may be better to look to deploy that into a property that does cashflow.Hope that helps in the thinking.

You could deploy that money elsewhere and buy a few smaller (or at least less expensive) homes in a friendlier market and come out way ahead unless you are content with just waiting for the market to appreciate.

For me to go through the due diligence myself and then if I did buy the property going through the zoning and permitting process probably takes more time than I would want to take and would rather deploy my capital elsewhere.
