They clobber you with transaction costs when you sell for example (no $6.99 broker fees,)...Plus, you may have huge opportunity costs if a problem property, a complaining tenant or wayward property manager distracts you from you day job.So maybe try one... if it works, rinse and repeat.

It doesn't frame the door at all and accentuates the carport.Replacing/painting siding is too risky, so adding a tree to the left to hide the carport post and distract the eye would help.Adding a tall planter on the other side of the drive where your garden bed ends would help as well.Or a hanging planter off of the two posts - driveway left and porch left.Rick
