As an owner of investment properties in several states I would like to get some degree of privacy and not to have my details available in so many places.

I think people will stay at your house over a hotel because your house has a kitchen, a garage, more room, and more privacy. 

I don’t like that it’s attached to an aging privacy dance on one side and an actual hole drilled into the house on the other.

The midwest is definitely appealing bc of cashflow reasons, just worried I won't be able to find work in my current field out there (Cryptocurrency).

Walk the path and ensure you have privacy for the main house.Install lock between main house and basement.

@Kyle Benham I would never fill out a “pre screening” form for a property I have not seen..... far too many reasons to NOT do this - topmost being privacy and scammers.

The main issues, that I can think of, would be less desirability since it is not a house, it would be in the back of the property next to an alley, privacy for myself and tenant, and parking sitiuation.

My property, my privacy, and you weren’t invited.

Arizona is not a “Good Samaritan” state so the party won’t be protected by privacy for the 911 call.

You should be laser focussed on that rather than worrying about buying a house.
