Others have 4 boxes grouped together by the street, and I've also seen neighborhoods where each house has their own box mounted on the side of the house by the front door.On some SFHs split into two units, I have seen two boxes, one marked 'A' and the other 'B' so that even though they share the same house number, the postal delivery service knows to separate the mail into two boxes: "123 Main St, Unit A", for example.

It would make an interesting feature in a movie where the main character lived. And he could have a secret car that no one knows about...with a huge V8 from before the motor laws. All black and covered in special paint that could go invisible at the touch of a button on the dash.Well if you put it in movie besides building it, you can have my movie rights to the secret car idea (seriously).I'm serious, you might be able to sell this to Hollywood...and make more money--easier.But apartments already have amenities and in places like NYC there are shops below them--so it seems doable.Big numbers run though, full scale gym, etc...Just my 2 cents.

@Anna FloresSeems to me you can not charge for all new blinds when they just damage one set.Just bad luck with the cor not being made anymore.I personally would refuse to accept their new blinds and bill the cost of the blinds and 30mins to an hour of labor to mount one set. Most blinds don't fair well in rentals so I'd just go with some budget home Depot Blinds, maybe cut to size vynil roller blinds if your feeling fancy.

It us hard to believe that we own all C+ Grade apartment buildings and also have many tenants who steal other tenants mail, packages, rob cars, put slugs in washers and dryers, stole the entire set of 28 mail wall-mounted mail boxes and a few days ago we found a piece of a coat hanger in a clothes dryer that was being used to get the dryers to work for free. So, I went on Amazon, purchased a surveillance camera that is also a USB charger that plugs into a wall and I installed a wall plug receptacle on the side of a light fixture on the ceiling so it was not noticeable.

The only way I see this working out is to put such as a Raceway non-metallic PVC surface mounted on the wall, from the light switch, up the wall to the ceiling, along the ceiling to a position of choice.

To @Adam Schneider's point, townhomes will have HOA dues of $60+/m (and that's the low end, up to $300/m depending on whats included) and those will errode cash flow quickly. If this is your first rental property or you need a lowe entry point, I'd also take Adam's advice and look at secondary markets - Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem (where I invest heavily), Fuquay/Holly Springs, Fayetteville, Burlington/Graham/Mebane, Rocky Mount just to name a few.
