Hey, folks! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm self-employed and living in Maryland (right outside DC). For the past 6 months, I've been feeling the itch to buy a home, but I recently discovered my dreams of home-ownership are a bit unrealistic right now. In my search for guidance on the home-buying process, I found lots of information on house-hacking, which led me here. I'm totally new to the real-estate world, but interested in connecting and learning more. I don't often see anyone other than fairly seasoned investors reply to newcomer introductions, so I thought I'd say Hello - from a fellow newbie!
