Not only was the stench nauseating but in order to get that smell out, you have to rip out the floors and treat the underlayment (yes even if it is cement) AND treat the walls with a special primer to kill the molecules and smell, then paint that.

It's a 2204 sqft home that is currently a 3 bed 2 bath with a down stairs that have two rooms/bedrms now but would need to have egress windows put in to meet code to be listed as such with a 3rd room possible to make it a 5 bedrm 2 bath home.

If its atop the durock you could use mortar or or leveling cement, just need to ensure it fully dries and cures before placing the vinyl atop it, this would leave it pretty flat and ready for the vinyl

We had to replace the deck railing, paint a bunch of stuff, fix stairs, build out the kids bunk room etc.What we did was rent it to people we knew who were interested in a discounted rate to have a vacation.

We haven't had any issues lately, however if in fact the survey is correct, I will be repairing/pouring a new cement driveway to help with the pitch and run off of water.
