Over the years it really boosts your access to credit and, ironically, your credit score as your revolving line % goes down.The biggest thing to do is always make sure you never miss a payment.

Moral of the story, when the home is sold at auction, that is not the same as eviction.

If it's listed through a realtor, the seller is obligated (morally and otherwise) to sell it through them.

To piggyback on what @J Scott said: when you start heavily into looking/marketing for the off market stuff, it can boost your sales agent biz too.
