This is tantamount to abuse of power by the government and with even crazier bills such as sb5160/5139/1236 and general direction of our politicians, this presents an existential threat to property/landlord rights.Although unethical infringement of our rights by the politicians is par for the course, I'm more surprised by the relative deferential attitude from the property owners and our state landlord associations on this wholesale violation of our 1st/5th amendment, due process rights.

You will have a tough time, not to mention the IRS would like to have a word with you for tax evasion, pay your taxes like a law abiding citizen then you'll have the tax returns to show lenders and get financing, it is probably going to be a couple years before you can get financing with a conventional lender, maybe sooner if you decide to amend your previous returns and pay the money you actually owe the government.
