I actually already have an AmericanAirlines reward card, but I was tired of all their black out dates.I was wondering if there was a Lowes or Home Depot credit card that gives back?

A gentleman I spoke with today said he wants to sell his rental property, and is sick and tired of being a landlord as he lives 30 miles away.

It is an unused car/tire shop that looks very similar to what an abandoned Firestone would look like.

I can't envision ever selling the house with this hanging over it and don't see a whole lot of point in continuing to operate it as a rental since it's never been particularly profitable and I'm just straight-up tired of trying to manage it from a distance.I owe $53000 on the mortgage and have considered trying to sell it for cash to an investor, but again with this kind of liability it's hard to imagine I'll have any success.Any and all suggestions are welcome.

They will be calling based on their motivation which could be one or more of the following: financial problems, inherited, tired landlord, tired home owner, moving, downsizing, upsizing, etc.

As far as the what happened to these two guys question, my guess is one of them went broke, the other got tired of reading and responding to the same newbie questions that dominate message boards like this.

In the case of an unemployed tenant I don't bother with the collection agency, but I still file it all with the courts so anyone doing a background check or credit check will see the eviction and unpaid amounts.I'm tired of taking a hit by these tenants, so I'm making sure all my existing tenants understand that there are consequences for not paying your rent and breaking a lease.
