I'm going to limit my response to what I would do next:Protect the property from any further damage - Prior to releasing a contractor we change the locks & depending on the neighborhood we may install steel doors from DAWGS.

We remodel our homes very nicely with hardwood floors (laminate in the townhouses), all new carpet and paint throughout, new bathroom fixtures and cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in unit laundry.  

I came out of it with leather skin and nerves of steel.

This would free up one of my slots to purchase one additional rental property.

., but even if it does, that doesn’t mean it’d be profitable today.I did a bit of googling over this thinking that the railroad was trying to keep the minerals, especially coal and iron, for themselves because a lot of steam engines burned coal and the engines and tracks were build from iron or steel (which is mostly iron).

I got incredibly lucky as I recently sold a couple of early properties since my ROE dropped and have conventional slots available.

Seems to me like they just don’t want creditors chasing down their students or people using the slot to get military deferments.I don’t think you need to be under the radar about this,Lots of banks and others will want to help a military academy cadet.
