Weird railroad mineral rights in Title Search

It's a house on a lake. There is no railroad anywhere nearby. Yet there is this reservation listed in the Title Commitment. Should I be worried or is this normal? It seems like a non issue to me, there are hundreds of other houses around the lake that likely have the same reservation:

Reservations and exceptions contained in deed from Northern Pacific Railroad Company:

Reserving and excepting from said lands so much or such portions thereof as are or may be mineral

lands or contain coal or iron, and also the use and the right and title to the use of such surface ground as

may be necessary for ground operations and the right of access to such reserved and excepted mineral

lands, including lands containing coal or iron, for the purpose of exploring, developing and working the

same.

at least as it relates to the west coast getting a permit to surface mine is next to impossible in most areas

now in Coal country IE back east thats another kettle of fish.. Since Jack is in Seattle I just made the assumption it was something in WA or OR he was looking at.
