Are there any Bigger Pockets meetups in Galveston County or League City area?

I plan on talking to KW, Douglas, Champion and maybe a couple other small investor friendly brokerages.

If you want to improve your community's appeal, donate time, money or property ... coach the little league team, buy and plant flowers in the town park every spring.If you are dealing with any other professional such as a lender, appraiser, tradesperson etc and if they need to know be upfront and tell them you buy, fix and flip homes, or buy and rent homes to make a profit.IMHO Mission Statements are a waste of time.

The oldest is 18 and is being recruited by 5 Ivy league colleges as I write this.

I'm not sure to what extent that this new industrial development will have on rents and sales, but either way it's a hot market.BTW I'll be investing in SFRs or multifamilies if I can find a good deal (vacation rentals are a bit out of my league).

@Nick Keesee I think what @Wendell De Guzman was saying that differed maintenance could help you to acquire a property that otherwise could be out of your league.
