I recently found Bigger Pockets and want to be part of such a wealth of information. I just moved back to Atlanta after finishing college in Alabama. I'm originally from the Birmingham, AL area and lived in the Atlanta suburbs for about 10 years. My parents always owned our home, but that's my only experience in real estate. I just started working as a structural engineer, so hopefully that will give me a little bit of experience with the construction and housing markets. I'd like to eventually have enough passive income from real estate for it to be my only income, but I realize that's quite a distance in the future.

I've hear the Atlanta market is nearly saturated, so I've heavily considered starting with a turnkey property in Birmingham or elsewhere in Alabama, since I have some knowledge of the area. Having recently finished school I'm just starting to save, but I hope to make an investment in about a year.

Thanks for all the knowledge so far, and hopefully I can contribute something down the line.
