Understanding lease agreements before closing can save you a lot of headaches.Since you’re planning for 2025 or 2026, there are a few things I’d do now to set yourself up for success.

I would encourage you to pick a country and then do the research on the way to buy real estate in that specific country. 

And if the 25% tariff hits canadian lumber, then everything is going to shut down.I'd like to know when this country is going to actually do something to help new construction.

I have never built a home before and I do not have 'construction' experience aside from renovating my own spaces (so i do have experience- just no formal experience). 

:-) Most agents are open to working with investors like any other deal... but do they really add a specific value to the investor?

I will definitely keep doing my homework.
