I have found that crime stats posted on the internet sites that MF investors use is often wrong.. as in dead wrong.  

Of course, I'm a little partial to Indianapolis...Also, don't get too caught up with 3rd party crime stats.  

Thinking about doing some out-of-state Wholesaling through Pre-Foreclosure, Evictions, Pre-Probate, Possibly Tax and Bankruptcy, ETC...Does anyone have a link to city stats that would classify them as a good State to Wholesale in?

I'll be scheduling my examine any day now.

Also, check to see if you have local REI clubs in your area- attend those, print out flyers with as much detail as possible about your deal including lots of pictures, property stats etc and start networking.
