For instance if someone is retired and this is most of their life's savings that is a different discussion than someone worth 8 million and a doctor making 1 million plus a year doing surgery.

Those are HORRIBLE numbers.Would you go to surgery if the chance for success is 1 out of a thousand?

Granted I’ve had to have cataract surgeries in both eyes and my spine is guestimating about 65 - 80% fused.
