In addition, in Shasta Lake City they legalized growing of recreational cannabis, so they're doing very well, and the City of Redding will soon be doing the same thing in the industrial park. 

I did constantly check homes for sale and values on my iPhone, but that was recreational, too.

After many states have slowly been adding legal recreational use (now including California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, and Maine) with an additional 20 states allowing medical use only, we have seen very little, if any slowing in our market due to this change.

We have a big recreational lake here where I grew up and live and anything around this lake (lakefront and surrounding areas) the market value of these houses are higher.
