Hello BP, I have been lurking the last few weeks as my husband and I begin our RE journey. We are currently talking with a local investor who is looking to sell off some of his portfolio. We are meeting Friday to discuss numbers on some of his properties. I have read books and blogs posts, but still feel quite nervous on analyzing these deals. The investor seems great and I hope he will become a mentor on this journey. How was your first deal and what did you learn from it? We also plan on joining our local REIA. Anyone attend the local meeting in Rothschild? Looking forward to learning more and making connections here on BP.
