Hi, looking for a contractor (perhaps a foundation expert) who may be able to advise on the following: Looking at a duplex that has a little alcove extension (picture a breakfast nook kinda thing) on the first and 2nd floors--just a couple feet jut-out.

Appreciate everyones help, got my hands on the zoning laws, and under the allowed uses for "Commercial 1" it allows Bed and Breakfast establishments, as well as single family homes.

From my understanding it’s quite possible to operate a room share or actual bed and breakfast on the property that you live on, but you probably can’t do the typical STR thing.The beaches are all INCREDIBLE but extremely expensive which hurts ROI.
