For example, some fail to include their social security number fearing it will be "stolen"; however, if you are running a screening on them you typically need this.If they fail to provide income criteria it's because they already know they don't meet your income requirements (IF you have listed this on your ads).I've had some fail to address the part that asks if they've ever been evicted.

Build something LIKE THIS.I've managed properties that had chain-link cages and others that built little storage rooms or closets with 2x4s and plywood.Whatever you choose, I recommend clearly labeling them, making the tenant provide their own lock, and posting warnings everywhere - including in the lease - that tenants can use storage at their own risk and you are not liable for lost/stolen goods.
