I was just watching "Selling New York" on TV, where the Realtor stood to make ~$500k - commission - for selling ONE property!

At the end of the day, my opinion is just that, my opinion, but it's the opinion of a millionaire who paid cash for his first house in his mid twenties, despite having stood on his own two feet, hardship, etc. since 18 years old.

My plans are approved and now just getting an idea on the cost of all the big stuff such as foundation, framing, trusses, etc.Hoping to get it done for under $200 sf

Instead I stood out in the middle of the street and got run over.

I have looked at several properties and one thing has stood out, lack of off-street parking.

I'm looking at a property that does not have a garage, although it does have the slab where a garage once stood.

We have completely gutted it and taken down to the studs, rebuilt the trusses as there were some broken from the snow load, we'll reconfigure the kitchen put in drywall, completely redo the bathrooms, decks, etc.
