In trade, you get to be on a podcast (btw, search for Gary Vaynerchuk on YouTube, he's the guy, and he says SM/Podcast/Youtube the future).

Also, Brookland Park Boulevard is undergoing a transformation near Chamberlayne Avenue that may help Highland Park as well.Still, I don't like to bank on appreciation with real estate investments and I don't think that the housing stock in Highland Park will lead to the high end renovations going on in surrounding neighborhoods.

We're watching the live webinars and the BP shows on YouTube, reading the same real estate investing books, etc. 

I know in some markets, traditional forms of marketing like bandit signs and direct mail might work really well and in other markets people might be seeing success with their online marketing ( like websites, social media, youtube channel, etc).

While I just joined up, I had been watching their podcasts and you tube videos.

You'll find their advice on Youtube and you can continuously listen to them. 

That way you are transforming what you are currently paying in rent into equity, and getting some experience investing.There are also tax benefits to this.

It has potential in a transformed location.
