I understand that I could start a formal eviction at that point, but I want to be proactive about this and avoid losing rent, a formal eviction and caving to their whims simply because they've threatened me.

I was just reading yesterday that as far as fatalities and injuries on construction jobs, Roofers are #1, I think followed by concrete workers that are injured when ditches aren't shored up and they have a cave in.

I deal with Flippers and Builders and Buy/Hold Landlords.My firm has been putting out Off-Market Investment property with 20% equity, Minus the cost of repairs.So, I've been dealing first hand with Investors in the area who scoff at the idea of 20% being anything close to a deal, while others are more than delighted, and see value in the equity capture here in the high speed and appreciating Austin Market.I'd like to hear some thoughts from everyone...

Said the numbers didn't add up because my depreciation from the homes wasn't able to be counted as it wasn't on some specific line item on my return.My cpa responsed thats the only place that depreciation can go so either they don't know what they're doing or they're just trying to back out.Eventually, the mortgage broker's management bumped it up to the lender's management and they finally caved - although they did stick me with a bunch of nonsensical documentation requests.They literally required me to show that the renter's security deposit went into my bank account.
