There are several states that don't have liberal disclosure of real estate sales, and Texas is one.I would LOVE to be able to use it, and will in other areas but, alas... not in Texas.

I joint ventured with my buddy builder and we hit the jackpot. 38 homes with nice profits.Point is to let your imagination run loose when your looking at a property and then work the numbers, you never know, for example when I had to move to my present location I looked at a duplex for sale in a great location of nice homes.

Here is the information I have...forget all other banks mentioned as that info was given to us by the seller and may or may not be reliable.Chain:Deed of Trust 1st Mariner04/99 for $333KLiber 2683 Folio 415-420Deed of Trust Greenpoint Mortgage Funding03/03 for $419KLiber 3642 Folio 252Within this document it states:Refinance Deed of Trust at Liber 2683 Folio 415 paid balance of loan $320528.66 leaving $0 balanceCertificate of Satisfaction Greenpoint Mortgage Funding12/03Satisfies Liber 3642 Folio 252The only other document that we have is a letter from 1st Mariner stating that they sold the loan to Residential Funding Corporation.This is all we were able to obtain from the county records.

It's also been described to me as the largest Republican population in a heavily Liberal county and state ;)I can totally understand your fear of offending your neighbors because you probably will - any sign on the lawn other then "Vote Elephant" is offensive there ;)The wavy canopy mountain roads with and breathtaking views there would be the envy of anyone passionate about RE.
