Make sure to get a sample from the bottom of wherever the vermiculite is as the asbestos particles (if present) will usually settle to the bottom in vermiculite. 

The aerosol cans are available in a variety of scents.

Dust and paint particles can make the alarm ineffective.

Each are capable of stopping some particles, but the truth is the number of particles they stop are much, much fewer than those they do not stop.

No flimsy MDF or particle board.

Large dust or dirt particles are fairly easy to remove and it's a continuum down to small gas molecules.

I see a lot of these rentals with particle board cabinet boxes that are always sagging inside, and just about always will have water damage in the sink base, because all it takes is just a small leak for particle board to get crappy. 

I try and avoid particle board vanities, as the water will eventually cause issues.Floor - I have used vinyl plank flooring on one of my units.

The final air sampling doesn't test for asbestos, it checks for particles.

I should add the cabinets are 100% wood, no particle board.
