The real estate market has evolved a lot in the last few years, with more real estate investors making it more competitive and interest rates cutting severely into margins and also slowing down buyer demand (when trying to get out of a property).

Why someone willingly wants to work with a government agency that will slow down turnover, dictate rents and rent increases, and dictate repairs is beyond me.

In your earlier post, I'm confused about why you felt the need to pontificate about the downsides of withdrawing 4% of your retirement portfolio on a periodic basis.

I feel like by the time I can withdraw without penalties, I should have enough cash flow and appreciation that my "retirement" years should be taken care of.I'll have to see what happens when it comes to lenders, I guess.
