I did eventually find a carrier in the Excess/Surplus lines that would write the insurance. 

Ask your attorney if It may be worth sending them a letter indicating they should open a claim with their Professional Liability Insurance carrier. 

I've seen so many ethics and commission complaints where the agent files a claim With their e&o carrier to only have it denied because of that threshold and they're always totally shocked.

I'll contact the carriers you suggested and ask them about dwelling fire.

Also if you go to switch to another carrier they will ask for a report showing all claims so it will follow you for many years, impacting your rates.

I mean, can I ask them to always carry the pet in a carrier and not put them down on the carpet?
