A little background, I have already purchased my first home last year using the VA loan through Navy Federal Credit Union so the process of buying a home is still fresh in my mind.

I just spoke to Navy Federal in regards to Opening a HELOC on my primary residence.

Quartz countertops, navy & white cabinets, classic subway tile & farmhouse sink- Master Bathroom: Walk-in tiled shower w/ glass pane & gold shower system, double vanity w/ quartz top- Living Room: new front door w/ huge overhead window adds natural light from the front; bamboo engineered hardwood floors are a focal point, but they cover the entire 1st floor & the white-washed cedar accent wall really brings the rustic charm to another level.What was the outcome?

@Dave DeMarinis I should re-word, she is 100% supportive she is just one of those nervous types who is afraid to put so much into something but once she realizes the potential outcome and once we figure out if I’m staying in or getting out of the navy she will be on board.

The best deal as far as I can see is to go into the Navy's Construction Battalions, the Seabees.

I've looked into condos before and LOVE them because as an officer in the Navy I always lived in decent Condos.

I am currently in the United States Navy assigned as a Recruiter with Navy Recruiting District Philadelphia.

Then, drove submarines along the East coast in the Navy.
