New, willing to learn and put in the hard work! - Charleston, SC

I joined BiggerPockets after listening to a few financial podcasts about retirement. I now plan to retire early on real estate investments. I am in the early stages of figuring out exactly which path I would like to start with, but am leaning towards the BRRRR method.

I am 32 and own my own home in lovely Charleston, SC. I currently work as an Engineer which makes very organized and has afforded me the skills to approach problems in a systematic way.

I have always been handy and picked up even more skills by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity over the years.  I am currently renovating my bathroom (by myself and with a little help from friends) and will tackle my kitchen next.

The abilities that I have obtained through my day job and hobbies will make me a successful real estate investor or partner.
