I personally find it fulfilling to help those who want to be helped as the average person could care less about real estate investing. 

When fulfilling a basic need for people at a profit it is probably better if one actually likes people in general and wants to provide this badly needed service.  

I will always want to be in EMS, but I want to do it on my own terms for giving back and personal fulfillment -- not to rely on it for my income.My current hurdle is that I do not have a lot of money to bring to the table, and my credit is in the lower 600's (which I am working to get up). 

@Tecora White In most states being a PM requires a real estate license...if they are not fulfilling their fiduciary and professional duty, have a candid conversation about filing a complaint with the regulatory authority...typically the state.

We have also learned that we both have a great path in order to fulfill our purpose and Real Estate Investing is still something we aim to achieve on this path.
