So this is what I know from experience, Pro: 1) if you wait 2 years you don't pay high taxes at the end of the year on your profit and you get more deductions.2) you can work on your house little by little and do a lot of work your self so you save money.And I think thats all the pro I can think of right now ( I am so tired just getting ready for bed after having a long day breaking tile and going up and down stairs carrying heavy cement boards).

I'd get second opinion, Have who ever comes use a FLIR Camera and see what the camera detects as it will show water under the cement, it's a thermo camera, used to detect leaks.CHECK the water meter,, IS IT spinning.. this will let help tell if incoming water is causing leak.Sewer camera would be next option for me before flange repair work is started.

Hard/impossible to remove: cage, steel posts with cement around the unit, chain the unit to the house or some other immovable object, surround unit with barbed wire.

Ended up doing foundation, plumbing, ceramic tile on basement, patio with cement which costed like 12,000 but I don’t think that cost is for material only and it has been 5 months already, when it should only take like 1 month tops!
