Think artificial skunk smell.

I spent $4,000 on turning the house and it still smells like smoke after painting the ceiling and all walls.

But I like that none fi my tenants share walls so I never get dragged in to tenant vs tenant battles. 

The more I'm on here, the more I see/hear/smell that people want to get into RE with no money to start with (I understand wholesaling can be a start) or want to have 79 SFRs in 24 months (that's the bigger problem).

The house had a failed septic a terrible interior smell from the 5 terriers that weren't allowed to use the yard as a toilet.

However, I have been well versed enough to battle back with some sort of internal rule I had created in my goals to help mitigate or manage all those issues.

I have battled cancer, was given up for dead, have had several surgeries, lost my home, lost my job, but I'm still here and will keep on fighting. 

Also, it is very important that they Syndicator you are investing is somewhat "battle tested" e.g. can move quick, seen a downturn, and so forth.
