Everybody understands RE isn't get rich quick, right?
The more I'm on here, the more I see/hear/smell that people want to get into RE with no money to start with (I understand wholesaling can be a start) or want to have 79 SFRs in 24 months (that's the bigger problem). It's fun for someone like me to help get creative.
Everything is possible, and I'm a positive/creative thinker. If there's a will there's a way. BUT if you want some advice, please know it doesn't happen overnight, it can take time, knowing people helps, trusting people helps, and know, you live and die by the phrase:
"You make your money when you buy, not when you sell."
"Don't lose all your soldiers in one battle."
Otherwise, it'll be timing, and knowing the right person that will get you your first few deals. And don't expect great returns like what you read about if you're getting into something with none of your own money or actually finding 75 deals in 24 months. You'll burn up faster than a cigarette in the mouth of of a junkie getting questioned on Live PD.

You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, there's a lot of appeal in "get rich quick." It's far more appealing than either "get rich slow."
It'll go faster if you're dedicated and committed to success. If you work on your real estate business every day, it'll grow faster than if you do not.
