The couple upstairs that is man and woman can be late but not the same sex couple in building 2.That is why businesses have policies, so every tenant is treated identical because if not you open up yourself to all sorts of issues.

@Billy Au-Yeung,I have some local people who are also providing housing under the VA Supportive Housing program.The points to emphasize to the lender are that rents are guaranteed / subsidized by the VA.

If during screening you run a criminal background check do you screen for drug convictions, violent and or sex crimes and screen these people out. 

And for kicks, take a look at a map of sex offenders....they are literally everywhere.
