Hi everyone-I'm an MBA student studying the apartment rental market in Greater Boston.

I have an EE degree from Texas A&M and I have an MBA (corp Finance) from SMU. 

I'm a local Investor/Agent, AF Reservist, MBA student, Professional Surfer (I wish)!

I have a MBA and got started out of grad school working as the executive assistance for an owner of commercial/mutlifamily.

Here in SF, come summertime it's a who's who of Ivy League/Stanford/Cal graduates, MBA 's, pHd's, etc. all competing for the same few apartments.  

@Lee Babin - Nice to see another member here from HRM.I have a similar story - long time lurker on the forums and have been concentrating on career and education till now (MBA, CPA).

I lived in Happy Valley for a few great years getting my engineering degree, and currently attend Pitt working towards obtaining my MBA. 

I finished my MBA in May and have since jumped into my first buy and hold deal.

Once I have the basics down, I hope to learn more that is relevant to my particular situation and possibly invest in further properties in the future.I am also considering taking courses, perhaps obtaining an MBA but would like to know others' opinions on whether or not it is worth it.Thanks for welcoming me into the community and I look forward to gaining some valuable insight. :)

I tend to latch on to ideas then work feverishly to become the consummate subject mater expert in each field, I have learned a little of real estate and now want to really dive in.I am educated in business finance, with an MBA, I have worked as a Financial Analyst  for that past 6 years for a large defense contractor.
