If one of my plans was going to make my life partner uncomfortable, I would have to give serious consideration to not doing it, whether or not I think I'm right -- after trying to persuade them of the merits of my plan.Some points others make may be valid points and while you may not abandon your goal, they may be worth factoring in.

No tough guy routine......just amazed that someone with a real estate license, trying to wholesale properties, doesn't realize the bank has to be paid off with proceeds from the sale when the owner sells it.

If you add up the true cost - purchase price; 30 years of insurance, taxes, and routine maintenance; major improvements; etc. - and compare it to the true value - what you could sell it for less the exorbitant costs of actually selling it - it is, at best, a crummy savings account.
