Debra i do know with NFCU they have the family member option because i have help my sister open an account with them, With USAA its a bit strict with spouse only from the last time i had checked with them and with Pedfed is more easier with a simple donation or your DD214 but you will always get the benefit of the doubt as a veteran with Penfed.

I have a friend who has a book company that comes to the hospital every 8 weeks and sets up displays in the lobby and sells books (a mini Barnes and Noble) and donates 10 percent to the hospitals favorite charity. 

If I were the seller, I would look at donating it to the city or county if possible.
