In most cases, your "new borrower" does not have 2 of the "C's...capacity and character/credit of the original borrower, but they are the ones getting the statements and supposedly making the payments.

,You can start with some character reviews from people you have done business with in the past.

The fact that she didn't report it OR check on the person below to see if they were okay speaks volumes to her character. 

Not only is there an brain addled person, but the drug issue shows their character as well.

I like the camaraderie, folks help each other with issues that arise.It is my anecdotal observation that in some groups, folks mostly invest with the main character, who gets rich(er) and the folks make some money. 

Never EVER accept or agree to accept any tenant without properly conducting all points of discovery and creditworthiness [ability to pay], background [character] data [patterns of behavior in past residences], etc.

It doesn't have the character of most of the others nearby.

But everyone who's successful has one common character trait, they play on their strength, they know their weaknesses, and they either improve on their weaknesses to bring the weakness up to standard or hire someone else who's great at their weakness to make it their strength.

Many will say it is, but what we're not seeing is the collateral, credit, character, or experience of the borrower.

Keep that in mind if your walls have 'character',  I grab a gallon or 2 of mistints (I have about 80 acquired over time and also  mix like-bases) off my shelf, depending on the home and room being painted.
