Hello BP I’m building new construction house, hired painter bid was 15,800 and I buy all material, I paid him 8,000 when job was 80% complete, now I look and horrible quality, they did not putty nail holes on Millwork, can see siding through thin layer of paint, light oversprays on hardwood , cabinets and walls, worse staining job on cedar you will ever see… told him to fix and he paint brushed made it much worse - what do I do?

Also there is one that you can brush on with a paint brush the brush comes in the kit, there also a kit that you can spray on it comes in a spray can.

In the past I've used a sponge style paint brush (the cheap black ones you can get for about $.99/ea) or you can even use a clean rag.

But I was afraid of not getting top dollar and being able to sell quickly in this market, their were 10 or more houses up for sale around me all the time, most had been up for 3 to 4 mo.I was not planning on removing the tile floor, but after removing the walls , we had a few extra tile but ended up being 3 tile short, this required removing all the tile floor and that I wasn’t planning on doing, so more time and money.Where I saved was using habitat for humanity as much as possible, buying paint (5 gal $40 , paint brushes ($2 , rollers $1) etc, the paint by the way was Sherman Williams just relabeled.
