But, I’ve been reading so much about the benefits of multiple doors and multi family properties at building long term wealth and now I’m under contract on a multi family property in Schenectady Ny, a place like everyone says not to invest in.

I have a LLC investment company based in the UAE, I just want to know how the taxes are in NY as I am planning to buy a land somewhere in Albany and build a small shop complex for me to rent it as we don’t have taxes here except for the VAT in which is 5%. ?

If your in NY a townhome is normal, however in the suburbs of Columbus OH the desirability is not as much.Generally speaking though there is more restriction with townhomes as far as renovating, HOA costs, and such.

If you create a FL LLC, then it will need to register in NY as a foreign entity.
