I have seen discoloration and mildew in some of my rentals, but NEVER MOLD.Have a professional check this out asap before it gets blown out of proportion.

I use only black appliances as they do not discolor like white ones and they are usually the same price.  

In items like drywall, carpet ect it only gets rid of the discoloration.

If the fires took place more than a week ago and they were not taken care of properly, you can expect a large bill.Basically, the soot from smoke is acidic and will permanently discolor walls, carpet, ceilings, appliances, etc..

It is currently on the market and sold, however, the buyer backed out after the home inspector found some discoloration (was not tested for mold)  in the attic.  

From the section on Roofing (assuming it's an asphalt shingled roof):"Asphalt roofs will have several key indications when they reach end-of-life:bare spots on the shingles, major discoloration or bleaching of the roof, large number of granules in the gutters, missing shingle and/or curling at the edges of the shingles.....Life Expectancy:Asphalt Singles:  20-30 years."

If the receptacle/plug were discolored from heat, it's on you.

So yesterday was my daughters birthday party and as I was sticking the balloons to  the ceilings I noticed a discoloration on  the paint  and  what it seems like a  water damage on my ceiling .

I'd replace the discolored light switch and cover and maybe reglaze the backsplash a bright white.

.- baseboards were discolored with yellow color extensively along the line where the wall & baseboards meet.- they had tried to DIY paint, left marking on the ceiling and now the house looks like it has two shades of color.
