Electrical repair question
I had an expensive electrical repair recently and I was wondering if someone could put the repair notes in lamens terms.
Problem: tenant can not was our dry clothes, fuse keeps blowing.
Technicians notes: you had 3 issues. 1) panel buss shorted. 2) dryer plug bad. 3) Dryer receptacle shorted.
Over several years of this house being rented I have never had an issue. As soon as a new tenant moves in, this happens. I'm wondering if anyone has insight as to how this happened and which of us (the tenant or i) are responsible for damages.
Thank you for any insight.
