@Steve Haight  I grew up in the Day's of Boise Cascade doing all their CA Huge tracks.I knew some guys that sold NV desert but not well.you also had Jeff Dennis's R ranch's a time share of a Dude ranch...

They have unbelievably high unemployment, it's a food desert, and high poverty rates, but a 1985 home for $65k renting at $1100 is otherwise tempting.

I did know one other fellow though who sold his court reporting business for 10 mil cash and he would show up to Silverado driving his beat up pickup truck but they owned a bad pad.. you hang around napa valley and the desert you will see very wealthy that have true wealth.People are people everyone does something different with their money.. but generally I find many that are very wealthy to be quite kind and respectful folks. 

Like I tell others imagine leaving your newborn with someone for two weeks and you will be on a deserted island with no cell service or contact with them.

I live in the desert so AC is a must.

Getting quotes on emergency repairs like major plumbing disasters, septic tanks, major electrical and sometimes hvac is like buying a bottle of water in the desert.
