I'm curious about the Ohio scene.

But i'm interested in getting started in the investing scene and was trying to analyze this deal and essentially see if it was worth to move out. 

So it wasn’t totally sight unseen I knew the neighborhood and I had someone else look at the inside and give me a pretty good estimate of repairs.I think you could buy property on scene however you need to know the area extremely well as well as someone you trust being fairly close that they could stop by.

I pretty much just threw in some cash behind the scene to help get the ball rolling. 

This sounds like corporate greed and lobbyists actions might have influenced the voting decisions behind the scenes.
