Questions About Starting Out In Wholesaling From a Newbie

Hi, I’m 19 and pretty new to the real estate scene. I’m intrigued by the idea of wholesaling but wondering how does one get started? I see a lot of people say “Start a business, market, etc.” but the idea of just starting a wholesaling business by myself without having any connections not funding kind of scares me. I was thinking of being a part of a group of investors then branch out and make my own business? Any advice?

Wholesaling is often both money and labor intensive. In competitive markets it is very difficult to make work. I believe the majority of successful wholesalers are flippers who market for off MLS homes and wholesale the ones that have lower profit margins. It is very difficult to make work for a newbie and even harder with a limited marketing budget
