Purchase price: $140,000 Cash invested: $28,000 Duplex is located within walking distance of KU, main shopping venues, and a good elementary school.These 650 sq' units come with 2 bedrooms and a full bath, a stacked washer/dryer, and a big backyard.

My wife and i were looking last night at a few apartment complexes for sale locally, and she actually seems interested (let's be honest though, we probably wouldn't qualify for financing) however the door to other venues is open and I actually believe we might be upgrading from this one house to multifamily buildings within a few years.

It's in a great location - walking distance to grocery store, great bars/restaurants, concert venue and a light rail station that can take someone into Denver, etc

Hey BPs, I am considering to buy a nice apartment with magnificent view to start my first Airbnb. 

The MLS is just a venue to get your listing in front of buyers, no different than signs, internet websites, flyers, post-cards, phone calls, etc.The only difference between the MLS and those other methods is that you're likely to get your property in front of *more* buyers by using the MLS...And I don't think anyone here has ever suggested using the MLS and not using those other methods.

@Stephen BagnaniI would look at a few different factors - Cost of living, in particular housing costs and taxes- Amenities, sports teams, entertainment venues, and outdoor activities that you enjoy- Crime and economic health of the region- Weather, do you prefer warm or cooler?
