As an out of state investor, you will have a business model that you can replicate in any market while local investors have not developed that skill/muscle yet.

Usually the company that provided your solo 401k documents can offer advice on setting on the bank account.

Whatever it is that you do or do not want going on at your property needs to be clearly expressed at the onset.

Closed on my second rental in muscle shoals last week and about to put my third flip on the market in Sheffield in about 2 weeks.

I am planning on setting up an LLC this year and have this rental under the LLC (and since it is paid off I understand that it is much easier to transfer to the LLC from my personal property).

I've been doing a lot of research on setting up an LLC structure to hold the properties for personal asset and privacy protection. 

How, if at all, would this change your opinion on setting this up?
